Two years after the campaign that brought hope and significant progress towards Marina Abib's recovery, the renowned dancer and cultural organizer faces a new and important challenge. At a time when her courage and creativity shine even brighter, we launched the new campaign: “Marina em Movimento!”

Marina is a source of inspiration for all of us. Her career as a dancer and her dedication to cultural art have enchanted and enriched lives in Brazil and Europe. However, since being diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis, Marina has been facing serious mobility and health difficulties, requiring continuous and specialized treatment.

What is autoimmune encephalitis?

Autoimmune encephalitis is a rare condition where the immune system attacks brain cells, resulting in inflammation and compromising brain function. This delicate condition has required Marina to use a combination of medications, physiotherapy, speech therapy and continuous neurological monitoring.

Although Marina has taken important steps in her rehabilitation, the treatment necessary to continue her recovery is costly.
